Kelly Ripa To Produce AND Star In New ABC Series!

Kelly Ripa is heading to primetime for a new ABC sitcom, Port Love, for which she'll be starring, producing, and co-writing with her husband, Mark Consuelos.
Congrats, bb! This is seriously impressive.
The show, Port Love, is a workplace comedy about the cast and crew of a formerly popular TV series, whose real lives have more drama [...]

We know that the first one was a pretty big critical and commercial success…but seriously?

Check out (above) the just-released teaser trailer for Cars 2.

Eh…we somehow doubt that this is remotely necessary.

But then again, most sequels aren't!

Thoughts??

Will Mark Wahlberg Star In The Planned Movie Remake Of ‘The Crow’?

It appears that plans to remake the amazing 1994 film The Crow are still moving forward despite the fact that production has, seemingly, hit a few roadblocks. In November of last year we first learned that plans were in the works to remake The Crow and in February of this year we learned that production [...]

Last night I got to spend some time with my dear friend Kerrie who is visiting LA this week. Kerrie and I go waaaaaaaaaaaay back and it had been ages since I saw her last. She lives on the West Coast now and we happened to reconnect right before she arrived in LA this week:

We had a great dinner at Vitello’s in Studio City, CA and managed to catch up on what’s been going on in each of our lives in the past few years. Kerrie is one of my favorite people … she and I had some great times back in the day. I’m so glad we’ve reconnected here on the West Coast.

No plans as of yet for tonight but I’m sure I can find something fun to occupy my time … hmmm. It’s Wednesday, y’all!! Happy Hump Day!

Beat Makers Online Why You Should Avoid Them

Live DJs, not the famous radio kind, have come a long way since I used to go to the local youth club as a kid, back then they were very tacky looking bearded hippies who used to play 60's and 70's records while getting secretly drunk and chatting up the local ladies. If you were lucky they had a couple of colored lights with them, you know, to really get the party started, back then it was more about the beer getting the audience going than the performance of the guy (it was always guys).

Asking The Professionals For Advice

Photographs may be taken by anyone who has a camera. Hundreds of billions of still pictures and hundreds of millions of rolls of motion pictures are made annually throughout the world. But what good is a camera if the lens is all fogged up? That's why, it is always important to have an anti fog spray on hand so that the pictures taken would not be all blurry and unclear.

Music Licensing For Movies An Effective Process For Budding Artists

Most musicians and guitar players are used to play with a single type of pickup. It's common and pretty much standard to find a magnetic pickup on any new electric guitar. A magnetic pickup acts as a transducer, by capturing the vibrations of the string, in order to convert it later into an electrical signal which can be amplified and recorded.

Principles of Music for the Listener and Music Student

Every individual at some point in his or her life has ideas about rock and roll dreams -- of singing and prancing on stage while playing blistering riffs on an electric guitar to the screams of a multitude of adoring admirers. Although many assume that road to popularity, only a few succeed in attaining this ambitious aspiration. For many who don't make it, they merely take pleasure in being able to play music instruments.

Amaze People With Coin And Money Tricks

Sarah-Jane Szikora has said that the success of her exhibitions is due to the quality of her art materials. The Gateshead artist showed gratitude to Winsor & Newton, a manufacturer of fine art products with a Royal Warrant, for supplying her with art materials for her Smarty Pants exhibition. Szikora's exhibitions such as Smarty Pants are famed for featuring paintings which incorporate roguish gingerbread men, cheeky confectionary figures and larger than life depictions of ladies and gentlemen.

When last we saw photos of hottie Ryan Gosling on the SoCal set of his new film Drive, he looked all greased up and dirty … and fine. Today we get to see new photos of Ryan on set, but this time he’s all bloody … and damn fine:

Lord have Mercy … I mean … what more is there to say. The man just looks hot even when he’s not trying to look hot. Toss a bit of fake blood on his v-neck shirt and, voila, instant sex. First it was grease, then blood … I wonder what other liquid Ryan will be slathered in for his next movie scene.

Many people use photographs and wooden artist's models to get the posture just right. Then they faithfully replicate it on the paper as they see it.

Arts and Entertainment from EzineArticles.com

A Van Gogh sells for one hundred and thirty-nine million, a Picasso sells for one hundred and six million, a Titian (who?) sells for seventy million, what pray tell is going on here? The one thing an outsider (us that are un-cultured in art, possibly even uncouth) know is that the common link between these very famous artists is that they are all kinda weird, most died broke; some were purported geniuses, but died broke non-the-less--many suffered horribly for their art, and now strangers with deep pockets pay fortunes for their work.

facebook teams up with glaad against anti gay bullying

This is a great step in the right direction! We're so happy to hear this.

GLAAD and Facebook have joined forces in an effort to decrease hate and anti-gay bullying on the Internet.

Today, Facebook announced that they will be seriously stepping up their game when it comes to responding to hateful speech, which violates their terms of service and needs to be removed.

Public Policy Communications Manager for Facebook, Andrew Noyes, sent out an email today, explaining how they plan to "…work closely with GLAAD and other LGBT organizations in the near future."

We couldn't be more pleased to hear that Facebook is on board. This is really important, and we're glad that efforts are being made to counter anti-gay bullying over the Internet.

All Summer long we’ve been seeing photos of Madonna hard at work directing her feature film W.E. and today we get our first look at the first promo materials for the film. Here is the newly released first poster for W.E.

I suppose the poster is OK considering the film is a period piece. At this point, I’m pretty sure Maddy still has a long way to go before the film is finished so … it’s a nice first poster. I can’t say that anything about it piques my interest or inspires me to want to see the film but … yeah. What do YOU think?
